This print is part of an ongoing series of images which deal with the complexity of motion in day to day life which often goes unnoticed. This image shows the movement of a hand flicking open and lighting a lighter.

Here is the final print, which i have decided to title “Find Your Mouse” for all of those seemingly impossible tasks out there like finding one mouse in an ocean of fields and forests
So after hours and hours of planning and carving I inked and hand burnished the 23” x 40” block. I then used the proof to hand paint silkscreen stencils to print the two blended pulls, and the signature red tail. All in all everything was hand done on this beauty.

Two contrasting personalities share a single body. Intricately carved feathers of ocher and light brown are illuminated against an emerald green wood grain background. I used three separate hand carved woodblocks to print Two Minds.
